African Ethno began with an inspiration for specializing in East African ethnographic art, and now have grown to offer a diverse collection of fine tribal antique and art from across the African continent.

Stephane Brosset and Khan Key of African Ethno bring more than 25 years of experience in the tribal art world and have been selling museum quality art to collectors and museums worldwide. We participate in some international tribal art fairs as well.

African Ethno have had unique field experiences to acquire an old traditional Rendille house, of Kenya, for a project funded by the Qatar Museum Authority in 2013.

In 2015 they published the first book on traditional East African headrests, Wooden Dreams - most of the headrests from this collection are now in their proprietorship.
